Sebastian’s hair ciolour is not mentioned in the book. Julia’s hair in the second edition became dark.
You know, I read through the whole book again yesterday after I got that ask, because I was so sure there was something that called Sebastian fair or flaxen or otherwise indicated he was blonde, but I found nothing at all. I somehow invented it, I suppose, which is nice for me because now I can picture Sebastian as dark-haired when I am brooding. Though it does annoy me that I was so sure that the 2008 movie had got that wrong and now I have one less reason to be mad at them.
